Why Vekibee is the best rated sonic mole repeller and vibration stake.
There are several brands of mole vibration stakes on the market designed to be mole repellers. Of these brands, such as Garden Ninja, Sweeney, and Vekibee, the latter is the most highly rated on Amazon and other sites. Why? Going through the reviews, several reasons for their better performance shows itself.
1. Vekibee's products are solar-powered. According to their spec sheet, 4 hours of sunlight means 5 days of operating power. Even if you have an occasional rainy day, your mole repelling vibration stakes will be working. Other brands such as Sweeney's utilize traditional batteries, meaning that you need to remember to change them, something that can be a problem if you go on extended spring or summer vacations.
2. The product is crafted to be anti-corrosion and water-proof, and is durable for lawns with a great deal of routine flooding (do you over-water your lawns?). It is designed to last for 2 years.
3. Vekibee sells their stakes in a variety of quantity packages. This is especially useful if you have a small half-acre plot and only need 2 stakes for a small garden, or if you have a far larger piece of land and want to buy 6 at one time. For example, you can get this 6 pack for a reduced price.
4. According to some Amazon reviews, other mole repellent stakes simply did not last as long as Vekibee. I have not been able to find how long those other stakes lasted in general--one Sweeney stake lasted 8 months--but I have no information at this time for the rest, but it is clear that Vekibee outlasts them.
5. While Vekibee mole repeller stakes are certainly the highest priced of the vibration stakes on the market, it is clear from their reviews and ratings that the extra money is well worth the investment. Sweeney's may be far less in cost, but its product does not last as long. Ninja Garden's vibration stakes have a two-prong attack of sound and vibration, but many buyers state that it simply did not work for gophers or moles. Vekibee has a far higher rate of working, according to reviewers.
As with all vibration stakes, these products are designed to repel moles humanely via battery generated vibrations. As I stated in my other article on mole repelling, these products work best at preventing incoming moles from settling in your garden, and are not as effective for settled moles. In addition, you may not need to take any course of action against moles if you only spot the occasional mole between April to early June, and at no other time. Those moles are typically juveniles leaving their natal den. If you never see moles after that time period, then your yard is simply not a favorite for moles.
If you are concerned that your garden or lawn is just the right amount of wormy for a young mole to settle and build dens and hunting tunnels, then vibration stakes will be right for you. One advantage of mole repelling vibration stakes, are that unlike castor oil products, they are not toxic to pets or children.
